Develop Great Products, Create A Memorable, Customer Friendly Website And Watch Your Business Success Grow!

February 26, 2013

Whether you’re a long-time business with many customers or a startup business with few customers, there are people out there who don’t know they need you or your products yet!

The goal of a business is to develop a product that customers want and need. Once you’ve developed that product, it’s about marketing those products to people who can utilize what you’re offering.

For online companies gaining the attention of customers can be difficult. With millions upon millions of websites all boasting different colors, videos and music, the selection for customers can be overwhelming.

When products are sold in department stores, customers can physically see, touch and even try out a product before spending their hard-earned money.

With that being said, there are ways to make your website and products standout. The five different ways to help your website gain the attention of customers who may not even know they need your products are:

  1. Tell your story
  2. Use video
  3. Have patience
  4. Be accessible
  5. Offer incentives to share

The first of the five different ways to be noticed is to tell your story. This is your chance to show customers why they need your products and how they’re missing out without your products. When telling your story, be relatable and be real. Use real life stories and experiences.

The second of the different ways to gain the attention of customers is to use video. Paragraphs upon paragraphs of written material can be overwhelming for customers. People like things they can see, they can visualize. Because, customers can’t touch your product and test your product, use real-life videos to support the claims and benefits of your products!

The third way to retain more customers is to have patience. It’s understandable that putting money into a company can be scary. You want to see results right away! But, becoming an industry giant doesn’t happen over night. Customers need to use your products and give the company feedback. Using the feedback your customers provide, you can work out the problems with any products and continue to grow your business.

The fourth different way is to be accessible. Make sure your website is easy to find. When customers click on your company’s website make sure it’s easy to navigate. People are busy, they don’t want to spend any additional time searching your website for an answer they thought would be quick!

Finally, the last step is to offer incentives to share. People love to discuss new things! If a customer loves your product, they’ll share that information with friends, co-workers and family. But, the same goes if they don’t like your product. Keep people talking by offering a deal, promotion or coupon. New customers are going to become repeat customers because your company offers them something in return!

Keep your business growing by following those 5 different steps of becoming a memorable product that’s needed by many!

Have you ever used a website that follows these steps? How do you feel when you’re on that website? Share your stories and experiences on our Facebook or Twitter pages!
