New Years Resolutions Should Be Attainable Goals!

January 16, 2013

Each year at the end of December friends and families gather together to celebrate a year of memories. Individuals or groups set in place goals they would like to achieve in the upcoming year. These goals are called resolutions.

Resolutions are broad goals set by individuals to achieve by creating smaller stepping-stones along the way!

The top five New Year’s resolutions are:

  1. Lose Weight
  2. Getting Organized
  3. Spend Less, Save More
  4. Enjoy Life to the Fullest
  5. Staying Fit and Healthy

Though millions of individuals have resolutions for the New Year it’s only a percentage of those people that actually achieve their goals.

According to statistic brain, 75% of resolutions made make it past the first week while only 46% make it past the first 6 months. Also, people in their twenties are 64% more likely to achieve their resolutions than those over the age of 50.

The New Year is the perfect time to change. Whether it’s changing a behavior or an appearance the New Year is a fresh start.

In 2013, you have 365 days to achieve your resolution. Set in place small attainable goals with deadlines that will ultimately lead to your resolution being successful!
