Holiday Lights Are Becoming More Popular & More Advanced Each Year!

December 24, 2013

Holiday lights have become a necessity during the month of December. Individuals have continued to be more creative over the years and light displays have become viral sensations on websites like YouTube.

Holiday lights are hung on houses, trees, mailboxes, railings, inside malls, on street lights and even on cars! Holiday lights are a way for individuals to show their creativity and holiday spirit.

There are plenty of fun holiday lights individuals can choose from when decorating their houses, trees or even businesses. The lights an individual chooses reflects their design style and creativity. There are strands of blue lights, multi-colored lights, icicle lights, lights in the shape of snowflakes, lights in the shape of snowmen, red lights, gold lights, candy cane lights and the list goes on!

In the past few years, some families have even found ways to incorporate music into their lighting display. People are able to link the beat of a song with their holiday lights to put on a full-blown show for their friends, family and neighbors!

Do you decorate using holiday lights? What kinds of lights do you use? Do you sync music with your holiday lights? Share a photo or video of your light display on our Facebook and Twitter pages by using #SLIBlog!
