Facebook Shares Can Help Your Business! Follow The Eight Keys Listed & See Your Facebook Posts Being Shared More And More!
Facebook is a great way to market your business. You’re able to post links, status updates, photos and even check-in at different locations. Although, posting information is easy and can be done from cameras, computers and cell phones, getting customers, followers and friends to share a post presents itself as a more difficult task.
There are a few key things to think about when you’re posting to your Facebook account if you want followers to share your information. These eight key things are:
- Be consistent
- Time it right
- Use eye-catching images
- Keep it short
- Be relevant
- Include a call to action
- Offer value
- Be entertaining
The first key thing to think about when posting to Facebook is being consistent. Post an ample amount of times per week so that you’re always at the top of your followers mind and timeline.
The second key thing to think about when posting to your Facebook account is to time it right. Depending on the type of business you’re in, there is always a best time to post. If you’re in an office and the hours are 9:00AM to 6:00PM, post throughout the day during that time period.
The third key to obtaining more shares on Facebook is to use eye-catching images. If you have a great image that’s breathtaking or funny, there are times when just posting an image is okay! When you use photos, make them memorable!
The fourth key thing to think about to get more shares on Facebook is to keep it short! This is an important key! Many of your followers are using Facebook on their cell phones or when they have a free minute at home. Don’t make posts too long because people are going to skim over your post and move on.
The fifth thing to think about when trying to get more shares on Facebook is being relevant. When you post on Facebook your posts need to be geared towards specific customers or a target audience. At SheetLabels.com, we sell labels so our Facebook posts are aimed towards individuals and businesses that may be in the market for labels!
The sixth key to receiving more shares on Facebook is to include a call to action. It’s all right; actually it’s great to ask customers to follow you on Facebook or to share a post or photo. Followers on Facebook are more likely to do something when asked to do it!
The seventh key is to offer value. When you’re posting to a personal Facebook account it’s often about your thoughts, your day and photos you’ve taken. But, when you’re posting on Facebook for a company account, take time to ask yourself if you find value in your post. Is your Facebook post worth a share? Is there something useful, helpful or interesting in the information you’ve provided?
The final key to receiving more Facebook shares is to be entertaining. Not everything has to be about business on Facebook. Post funny photos from company parties or lunches; add videos of team bonding events or just inspirational quotes.
Take all eight of these keys into consideration when making your next post to Facebook!
