12 Unique, Eye-Catching Craft Beer Labels

November 21, 2014

The popularity of craft beer has been on the rise in recent years, which makes it a great time for fans of micro brews. There are new craft breweries popping up all over the world, and the quality of beer has also gone up due to competition.

When you go to your local beverage center what is it that makes you buy a new craft beer to try? For many people a good label can be the deciding factor when they purchase micro brews. With this in mind many micro-breweries are taking the extra time to make sure that every beer that they release has a label that stands out. With so many craft brews available these days, there are plenty of completely unique and amazing labels. In this post we list out 12 of our favorites, if you have a favorite craft beer label then tell us about it in the comments!

The first craft beer label in our list of favorites is this eye catching label for Labyrinth Black Ale. This brew is crafted by Uinta in Salt Lake City, Utah and is part of their Crooked Line beers.

Next up on our list is this surreal looking label, which is definitely another one that would draw your attention while sitting on the shelves. This is Downtown Brown which is brewed by the Lost Coast Brewery in Eureka, California.

Number 3 on our list of microbrew labels is one that was heavily influenced by the Fairy Tales that many of us grew up with. This is a very cool label that has a reflective ink on it to create the cool mirror effect. It is brewed by none other than the Grimm Brothers Brewhouse in Loveland, Colorado.

Moving on down the list we have Dogzilla which is another label that would easily stand out on store shelves. This cool microbrew is created by The Laughing Dog Brewery located in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Founders is becoming a pretty well known craft brewery, and one of their popular choices for dark beer is their Breakfast Stout. The label is also very noticeable when sitting next to other beers, and the picture on the label could not be any more perfect for the name of the beer. Founders Brewing Co. is located in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

Next up is a Craft beer from Mexico that has an awesome theme with their labels, which are a tribute to the Luchador (Mexican Professional Wrestlers). We are unsure of the brewery where this beer is created, but the label was designed by an artist named Jose Guizar.

Cockeyed Cooper is another craft brew by Uinta, and it has a unique and fun label that will not be easily forgotten.

Gonzo Imperial Porter was created to honor Hunter S. Thompson, and the label is a nice tribute to him. It is brewed by the popular Flying Dog Brewery in Frederick, Maryland.

Here is a beer that is impossible to miss because of the bright colors used for the label and all of the packaging. It probably tastes amazing too just judging by what it is called and brewed with. This one is brewed by Rogue Beers in Ashland, Oregon.

This label has a macabre vibe to it, and it is very unique and will be easily spotted because of its uniqueness. A Saison Darkly is brewed by Stillwater Artisanal Ales and this particular brew was crafted in Huisbrouwerij Sint Canarus in Deinze-Gottem, Belgium.

Zombie Dust Pale Ale is another craft brew label that cannot be missed since the Zombie King looks like he is about to jump off of the label. This cool looking brew is one of many amazing beers made by Three Floyds Brewing Co. out of  Munster, Indiana.

The last one on our list is this very artsy looking label, which is another one that will remain top of mind because of how cool and unique it is. The name is a great play on words of "Apocalypse Now" and this is another brew that was created by Three Floyds Brewing Co.

These label images are all owned by the breweries where they were crafted: Labyrinth Black Ale, Downtown Brown, Magic Mirror, Dogzilla, Founders Breakfast StoutCervecería Sagrada, Cockeyed Cooper, Gonzo Imperial PorterVoodoo Pretzel Raspberry Chocolate, Saison Darkly, Zombie Dust, Apocalypse Cow

Cool logos, especially like Stillwater Artisanal's and Downtown Brown's label. Bet their beer is good too.

They are both very nice ones that easily stand out next to more generic labels.

This was exactly what i was looking for. Before I was using paper labels for my beverage product and they were not suitable for the way wanted to present my product. The labels would crinkle and peal of when the beverages got cold in the fridge. Now with my new labels from SHEET LABELS, I no... read more
