Q: Should I Cover My Non-Weatherproof Labels With a Crystal Clear Gloss Weatherproof Label To Make It Weatherproof?
A: Do you order one of our Premium Branded, Metallized, Colored and Coated or Uncoated Paper label materials to use on your products or product packaging? If so, you may know that these labels are not weatherproof. A common question asked by our customers is, “if I add a Crystal Clear Gloss Polyester label over my non-weatherproof label material, will it then be water resistant?”
This is a great question! The answer is, no, your labels will not be water resistant. Though our Crystal Clear Gloss Polyester Laser labels are weatherproof when you apply these labels over another label material, there is a crack between the two separate labels. Though the crack may be small, liquid can leak in between the two labels!
If you’re searching for a weatherproof label material, we have a few different options for our you. These options include:
- White Matte Polyester Laser Weatherproof
- Crystal Clear Gloss Polyester Laser Weatherproof
- Frosty Clear Matte Polyester Laser Weatherproof
