Meet Brewmaster Jack: His Beer & Our White Polyester Laser Weatherproof Labels Go Great Together!
Supporting local businesses is a top priority to some, including Northampton, MA resident, Tyler Guilmette founder of Brewmaster Jack, which he started in 2011.
Located in the Pioneer Valley, is a malthouse called Valley Malt. Andrea and Christian Stanley in Hadley, MA started Valley Malt in 2010. A malthouse is crucial in the preparation of turning barley into a beer. Before the Stanley’s opened Valley Malt in 2010, the closest malthouse was in Wisconsin. This is a great location for brewers on the West Coast, but left the East Coast using supplier’s form overseas. Tyler came to the decision to use a local malthouse because he wanted his products to be as local as possible and Valley Malt made that dream a reality.
Have you ever wondered just how companies name their products? Do they sit around brainstorming ideas or do they just pop into their head? “I don’t really have a technique for naming beer. When I come up with a good idea I just write it down,” said Tyler.
Tyler chose our White Matte Polyester Laser Weatherproof label material when deciding how to label his Stray Dog Lager beer! The White Matte Polyester Laser Weatherproof label material was a great decision because it holds up well in different elements. With the condensation that occurs on beer cans and the tear resistance of the material itself the label is sure to stick to his Stray Dog Lager beer!
Famous beers like Budweiser and Yuengling have a headquarter location as well as distributers across the county and even the world. But, Brewmaster Jack’s is unique in the fact that it doesn’t have a specific location. “I don’t have a specific location. I rent equipment from other breweries. It’s called a renting brewer or a gypsy brewer.” This method of brewing allows Tyler and his beer to visit different locations, try different breweries and meet new people!
With the popularity of his Stray Dog Lager, Tyler, has decided to expand his brewing skills to make a second beer. Ambrewsia is Bremaster Jack’s newest creation! Grown in Penn Yan, NY and malted by the local Valley Malt, this new beer is sure to please his already happy followers! Check out Brewmaster Jack and taste it for yourself!
